建议：子宫全切术是一个较大的创伤手术伤口的恢复时间约需要7-10天。除了下腹部有一个伤口外，阴道的残端也有一个伤口，阴道伤口较腹部伤口愈合时间要长一些，约需10天左右，所以手术后的保健恢复，一定要注意这个特点。一般说来，手术后的一个月之内，要尽量避免外出散步、逛商场、跳绳及长时间地坐着打牌等，多卧床休息，以减轻对阴道伤口的重力压迫，让伤口完全愈合。一个月后进行一些适当的清醒室外活动，时间也不宜过长。子宫全切术后由于盆腔内的韧带组织都有创伤，而且恢复较慢，所以手术后休息时间为3个月。在3个月之内一定要禁止房事和盆浴。子宫切除后，盆腔变得空虚了，腹腔的肠管下坠至盆腔内，一些病人会有腹部的下坠感或觉得提不起气来，需要慢慢适应，尤其是部分手术后有肠管粘连的病人感觉更加明显，甚至于出现腹痛等情况，可以考虑做理疗等。手术后的病人在半年内要禁止挑水、提重物、拖地板凳重体力劳动或活动。一般3个月以后可恢复性生活。
