This morning he got up very late,as a result of____he missed the early bus and was late for class.& (选which)A large number of young people now go to work in towns and cities,as large quantities of farmland into buiding land.(选have been converted)Hundres and thounsands of chikens have been killed, and it was the only way they can think of____the bird flu from spreading.(选to prevent)I have heard of a case_____a soldier did not offer his seat to a woman with a baby even if the baby began to cry.(选where)
as a result of是由于,因为. This morning he got up very late. 后面的as引导的是时间状语从句.it was the only way they can think of to prevent the bird flu from spreading 分析:they can think of 是省略that的定语从句(that作of的宾语,可省).所以to prevent the bird flu from spreading 是介词短语做定语,修饰the way. 而先行词是case,用where引导定语从句,类似的次还有condition,situation,case,circumstance,state,scene,extent等词看到这些词一般是where.
they can think of是定语,修饰the only way ,可以不用管,主题就是the only way to prevent。way to do 是固定搭配。...
