Academic Achievement
TechYES provides a comprehensive technology literacy curriculum. Students produce technology projects aligned to academic standards with the support of STLs.All projects are assessed to determine how many of the 24 ISTE NETS performance indicators have been met. Students are deemed nationally TechYES certified once they accumulate 21 on these indicators.
Professional Development
A major component of GenYES is providing much-needed technology infrastructure support for teachers. Teams of students assist school and district IT staff to ensure that technology is working and available for student learning.GenYES has saved districts considerable money and students have benefited greatly by gaining valuable learning and leadership skills.
Tech Literacy & Certification
K-12 teachers create lessons and assign students tech-infused projects aligned to Common Core, NGSS, NETS, and other academic standards.TechYES tools address both the Common Core Standards and processes. TechYES offers a powerful way to assess whether students have met standards and learning outcomes via project creation.
IT Support
GenYES students in grades 4-12 help teachers and adults (1) learn technology skills, (2) produce learning resources, and (3) maintain tech infrastructure.GenYES prepares students to respond to Technology Assistance Projects (TAPs) for faculty and staff.
1:1 Initiatives
GenYES 1:1 prepares Student Technology Leaders teams that become responsible for deployment, maintenance, and integration of laptops, tablets, or other devices provided to all teachers and students. Generation YES provides the preparation, training, implementation and evaluation necessary for any 1:1 initiative.

STEM Star has all the features of TechYES with projects and resources emphasizing STEM.STEM Star has produced more than 10,000 rich and powerful STEM related projects aligned to CCSS, NGSS, and other standards.
College/Career Readiness
CollegeYES has all the features of TechYES with projects and resources addressing college and career preparation. CollegeYES has produced more than 4,000 rich and powerful projects aligned to CCSS, NGSS, and other standards.CollegeYES is a large U.S. Department of Education Investing in Innovation (i3) development project.

Digital Safety
All the features of TechYES with additional resources aimed at students producing projects and PSAs related to digital safety.SafeTech will help local districts and schools address the federal CIPA mandate to educate students about Internet/digital safety and cyber bullying prevention.

Student Tech Leaders
We believe that teams of well-prepared K-12 students are the key strategy for realizing meaningful technology integration. All Generation YES programs have STLs at the center.
Project-Based Learning
All Generation YES programs involve students designing, constructing, and assessing projects aligned to student and teacher learning.
Tech Integration
Providing support and resources to schools using technology for improved learning opportunities and academic achievement is a primary goal of the nonprofit Generation YES.
Data Collection & Assessment
Guided authentic assessment and reporting provides students with feedback and educators with solid data on student progress.

We have a great new class of Hingham Tech Squad this year, as well as almost every block covered with our experienced Help Desk kids available.
