Have you had a headache during a test? Have you ever been so worried about something that you have a headache or even can't sleep at night? If so, then you know what stress is. Stress is what you feel when you are worried about something. This worry in your mind can make your body feel bad. You may feel angry, sad, scared, or afraid--all of which can give you a stomachache or a headache.
However, there are different kinds of stress. Some kinds of stress are good and others are bad. Good stress might happen when you're called to answer questions in class or when you have to give a speech. This kind of stress can help you to get things better done. For example, you may do a better job on your test if the stress pushes you to prepare better before the test.
On the other hand, bad stress can happen if the stress lasts too long. You may not feel well if your parents are fighting, if a family member is sick, if you're having problems at school, or if anything else makes you unhappy every day. That kind of stress isn't going to help you. And it can actually make you sick.
The best way to fight the stress is to have a balanced life. Make sure you keep your SELF in mind: Sleep, Exercise, Leisure(休闲), and Food. If you get enough sleep and eat properly, and if you exercise and leave time for fun, you'll probably feel less stressed.

TV program has become popular in China recently. It has made people
all over China become interested in writing Chinese characters(汉字).
The increasing use of computers and smart
phones has made most young people hardly able to write by hand. Many of them
are even unable to remember the 10,000 characters used in daily life without
electronic devices’ help.
CCTV started the Chinese Character
Dictation Competition to improve the population’s handwriting skills.
Contestants(参与者)on
the show were school pupils, but it was found that 70% of adults in the
audience(观众) were unable to
remember how to write the word “chandu”. Because computers allow people to type
characters simply by entering pinyin, they don’t need to remember how to write
them. “The keyboard age has had a big influence on the handwriting of Chinese
characters,” Guan Zhengwen, who designed and directed the show said. He added
that he hoped to encourage people to keep it alive as an art form.
Hao Mingjian, an editor of a magazine,
putting his heart into Chinese characters, said, “Learning Chinese characters
goes on throughout your life. If you stop using them for a long time, it is
very likely that you will forget them.”

Nowadays, many students do

John’s Chinese teacher often

he usually searches online, picks out certain stories and makes PowerPoint
presentations.
“I’ve become skilled at
finding information online and using Microsoft Office,” Wang said.
However, many students think this trend (趋势) also brings up problems. Some students just copy the
answers online without thinking. They become lazy.
A head teacher in Andy and
John’s school said that knowing how to use the Internet is important. The key

problem is, think about it independently (独立地) first,” the
teacher said. “Be sure to understand the reasons behind the answers, or you

invited 550 children, ages three to six, to take part in a study of five
separate experiments. This new
study shows money makes children work harder, but it also makes them less

about how to talk to your children about money.
●Start young
With a son or a daughter who is five
years old, parents can start talking to them about different types of coins and
let them pay for things when out shopping, so they get used to dealing with
money, or play shops with them at home using some play money.

small amounts now at a young age, rather than bigger amounts when [来源:17教育网]they are older when the result would be

●Be confident
Parents should remember when teaching
their children about money, that they are helping them to learn a lifelong

chores(零碎的事)
Paying children for work around the

●Be consistent(持续的,始终如一的)
Although most parents give children

Being irregular and offering different amounts can actually make it harder for
children to learn about how to use their money to save against a rainy day.
