句中off是做什么用，什么意思，还有was found(被发现)后面跟abandon,abandon前不用加介词吗？为什么这么用，不是说两个动词之间要加 to 吗？可不可以在举点类似的句子看看？谢谢！

我认为句中的off是一个介词，在句中来修饰the highway(公路)，意思为公路旁的...
off得意思为介词：在.....的旁边
abandoned的意思是被抛弃的，被丢弃的意思，在这句话中得词性是形容词（adj）虽然这个词本身是动词，但是在这句话中是把动词(abandon遗弃)转换成形容词(abandoned被遗弃的)的，来修饰车是被丢弃的(adj)。

nd一词的后面可以跟形容词做表语,abandoned是过去分词，显形容词词性。
