Vertu 於今年年初發佈的 Ti 是一款由各種貴金屬、寶石和高級皮革包裹的Android手機，售價 1 萬美元起，規格雖然嚴重落伍，但有錢的土豪怎麼會在乎這個？&最近參觀了 Vertu 位於英國的工廠，讓我們也跟著逛逛吧。
當還沒有 iPhone 的時候，恐怕大多數人在談起土豪手機時都不會忘記 Nokia 的三駕馬車 — N 系列，8 系列和土豪中的土豪 Vertu。如今 Nokia 手機部門被微軟買了，N 系和 8 系早已離使用者而去，只剩下去年被賣給私人股本 EQT VI 的 Vertu 還在生產。
自去年獨立之後，Vertu 在不忘記保持自己奢侈品身段的同時開始在產品中加入智慧機型，確切的說是Android機型，使其搖身一變成了眼下價格最高的Android OEM。
Vertu 於今年年初發佈的 Ti 是一款由各種貴金屬、寶石和高級皮革包裹的安卓手機，售價 1 萬美元起。Ti 搭載的是 Android 4.0 系統、一塊 3.7 英吋 WVGA 螢幕和一顆 Snapdragon S4 處理器，規格雖然嚴重落伍，但土豪怎麼會在乎這個？
最近參觀了 Vertu 位於英國的工廠，讓我們也跟著逛逛吧。
▲Vertu 的 logo 最初在設計時是一個代表握手的抽象圖形（向 Nokia 致敬？），但最後由於看上去太像馬自達的 logo 而改成如今這個更加銳利的造型。 Vertu 是之後被選來匹配這個 logo 的，Vertu 一詞的拉丁文意思為「優秀的事物」。
▲總部被分隔成兩部分：右邊為行政與設計部門，左邊則為生產和配送部門。建築的內部透視程度做到了最大化，在迎賓處就能清楚看見 Signature 系列裝配線上的員工在埋頭工作。
▲除了滿眼的 Vertu 標誌之外，公司內部的還有很多隨處可見的標語。
▲每個人都穿著實驗室裡的白袍和防靜電腳環。Vertu 稱其螢幕裝配工作室裡的微粒污染控制標準和手術室一樣嚴格。
▲上層為負責全球市場的採購和管理的工作區，底層則是設備組裝、測試和包裝區域。那些裝滿了成品的箱子背後是個由一道用 15 種材料製成的厚達 10 英吋的大門把守的房間，裡面存放的是 Vertu 用來裝配手機的貴重材料。
▲這裡沒有流水線，每一部手機都是由一名工作人員從無到有組裝出來的，在完成後他們還會在設備上刻下自己的名字。客戶非常喜歡這種個人專屬的感覺，甚至有熟客指定要某一位工作人員組裝手機，這反過來也大大激勵了 Vertu 的員工。

▲只要能用手工完成，Vertu 絕不會選擇機器。
▲每一個被用在 Vertu 手機上的小配件都必須經過嚴格的品質檢查。由於他們堅持不使用更為精準的大批量生產方式而選擇人工打造，一些複雜零件的不合格率甚至達到了 15%。
▲有些步驟還是難免流水化。
▲Signature 系列的每一個配件都要精心打磨。
▲與其說是工廠，不如說是一家超大的手工作坊，每一名員工都有自己的工作枱和工具箱。
▲高通是 Vertu 最新產品系列 Constellation 的主要晶片供應商，把用貴重材料包裹的 Vertu 打開後，可以看見內部構造和普通智慧型手機並無差別。
▲一部手機完成後需要經過機器和手工的雙重檢測，前者負責檢測功能後者則負責檢測質感。
▲生產區域旁的展示櫃內陳列的是 Vertu 手機的最完美樣品，同時還包括了各種配件，它們還被當做檢測品質的標準。
▲旋轉式托盤裡碼著各種微型配件。
▲根據技能種類的不同，成為一名技術要經過 3～12 個月的培訓。不過你的工作臺上一直會有一個螢幕同步播放當前設備的組裝說明，任何時候都可以Step by step 教你的情況下幫你完成整個過程，連旁邊旋轉式托盤也會根據情況自動為你找到所需配件。
▲拆手機也是一門技術。
▲最後的收尾工作由 「白手套」小心翼翼地完成，Vertu 堅持 「the last thing we see is the first thing the customer see」。
▲展示 Constellation 顏色選項和配套皮殼，這一盒子手機價值大約 25000 歐元。
▲這就是 Vertu 目前的所有產品，從左到右依次為：旗艦產品 2008 Signature（9000 歐元起）、第一款Android智慧型手機 Ti （7900 歐元起）和最新的系列 Constellation（4900 歐元起）。
▲Vertu 的設計主管 Hutch Hutchinson 表示公司試圖透過 Constellation 和 Ti 來拓展品牌受眾。儘管他相信搭載 S40 的旗艦 Signature 仍然有市場，但是像 Constellation 和 Ti 這樣離普通人更近的手機對 Vertu 來說也是非常有必要的。
