MCC Soars in ALCU R3 Games 2013
The MCC team garnered a number of titles in the First ALCU Regional Games on December 19-21, 2012 at the City of San Fernando.&
Dr. Leonardo C. Canlas, the President of Mabalacat City College, is this year’s Most Outstanding Kapampangan in the Field of Education. He received the prestigious award at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center on December 11, 2012 during the 441st&founding anniversary celebration of the Province of Pampanga.
The year 2012 is a jubilee year for Mabalacat. The year did not only mark the tri-centennial founding anniversary of the town, it also witnessed its successful conversion into a component city of the Province of Pampanga. To celebrate these milestones, the Institute of Arts and Sciences of Mabalacat City College staged Velada Mabalaque?a on September 25, 2012 at the Mabalacat City College quadrangle.
The Region III Director of the Department of Education, Dr. Isabelita M. Borres, visited the College last June 19, 2012. She was welcomed by the President, Dr. Leonardo C. Canlas and other College officials. She came to see the facilities of the College upon the invitation of Mayor Marino P. Morales. She inspected the laboratories, library and important offices.
Dr. Adelina S. Patriarca, President of the Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA), conducted an orientation seminar on accreditation at Mabalacat College last June 18, 2012. The seminar aimed to familiarize selected members of the Administration and Faculty to the rudiments of ALCUCOA accreditation. Mabalacat College aimed to be accredited with ALCUCOA in its bid to become a university in the next fifteen (15) years.

After years of brainstorming starting in 2003, the idea of setting up a tertiary institution was conceived by a group of committed individuals led by Mayor Marino P. Morales, assisted by DepEd District Supervisor Carmelita P. Sotto, then SB member Tomas P. Manalo, Jr., present president of the College, Dr. Leonardo C. Canlas, Municipal Budget Officer Rogelio C. Tanglao and the acting Municipal Administrator Rosanno S. Paquia.
"There is nothing constant in this world but change." This is true with computer. With the advance in technology, learning is facilitated. By merely surfing the website, communication becomes fast, the delivery and the transfer of information is received speedily.
True to our mission, we develop the students into the best that they can be- not just intellectually but also in other aspects of their personality. Our package of student services are managed and implemented by qualified professionals: medical doctor, dentists, registered nurses, licensed guidance counselors, skilled student advisers and trainers in publication, performing arts, and sports, and competent student affairs, discipline, and admissions personnel.
