STEM Education at Stevens

Stevens faculty engage K-12 teachers to deepen their disciplinary knowledge.
Students learn about circuits in the PISA2 program.
Educators perform a drop-test during PISA2 program training.
K-12 teachers explore physical science activities with support from Stevens faculty.
Students design and test a book-holder made out of paper.
Educators design, build and test robots that can operate underwater.
Stevens faculty work with elementary teachers on Common Core Math content.
Students try out underwater robots at the USA Science & Engineering Festival.
Educators work together to safely transport "toxic" popcorn.
Students construct a tower made out of cardboard.
Middle school teachers design, build, and test wind turbines.

Partnership to Improve Student Achievement in Physical Science: Integrating STEM Approaches
Grades 3-8 teachers learn to place engineering design, model making and explanation and evidence at the center of their science teaching in this National Science Foundation sponsored Mathematics and Science Partnership program.
WaterBotics(R)
Build IT Underwater Robotics Scale-Up for STEM Learning and Workforce Development (BISU) Project
WaterBotics& teaches engineering design to middle and high school youth. With LEGO& materials, they design, build, program and optimize underwater robots, learn STEM concepts, and gain interest and awareness of engineering and information technology careers.
NJ Partnership for Research to Improve Mathematics Education
Mathematics practices, content knowledge and student thinking are at the center of the effort to increase teaching expertise and leadership talents in this New Jersey Mathematics and Science Partnership program designed to increase the academic achievement of elementary students in mathematics.

trucker, Lexcie was born in England's green and pleasant .
Although he grew up in Taipei's leafy exurb of
and ancient port-town of , he nevertheless started his railway career in 1999 with the former British Rail , Scottish Region.
After accuring service credits with numerous transit operators (and contractors) in the Bay State and Gotham City, he was a longtime resident of Haverhill [hayve-ril], Massachusetts (amongst those ''), and thoroughly relished his 250-mile commute to work for a major northeastern passenger railroad.
In his spare time, he enjoys incurring revenue passenger-miles (i.e. ), and thereby discovering found objects.
