WestPac Cruise. It was my last cruise before leaving the Navy. I have great memories of That last cruise. I had been to WestPac on two previous cruises, aboard both the USS Bennington CVA-20, and then the USS Midway CVA-41.

Comments: I live in usa and life is worth living comfortably for me and my family now and really have never seen goodness shown to me this much in my life as I am a mother who struggles with three children and I have been going through a problem as seriously as my husband found a terrible accident last two weeks, and the doctors states that he needs to undergo a delicate surgery for him to be able to walk again and I could not pay the bills, then your surgery went to the bank to borrow and reject me saying that I have no credit card, from there i run to my father and he was not able to help, then when I was browsing through yahoo answers and i came across a loan lender MR TONY HARTON, offering loans at affordable interest rate and i have been hearing about so many scams on the internet but at this my desperate situation, I had no choice but to give it an attempt and surprisingly it was all like a dream, I got a loan of $ 50,000 and I paid for my husband surgery and thank God today is good and you can walk and is working and the burden is longer so much on me more and we can feed well and my family is happy today and i said to myself that I will mourn aloud in the world of the wonders of God to me through this lender GOD fearing MR TONY HARTON and I would advise anyone in genuine and serious need of loan to contact this God-fearing man on

Hi, My name Jane and i just want to share my experience with everyone. I have being hearing about this blank ATM card for a while and i never really paid any interest to it because of my doubts. Until one day i discovered a hacking guy called John Brown. he is really good at what he is doing. Back to the point, I inquired about The Blank ATM Card. If it works or even Exist. They told me Yes and that its a card programmed for random money withdraws without being noticed and can also be used for free online purchases of any kind. This was shocking and i still had my doubts. Then i gave it a try and asked for the card and agreed to their terms and conditions. Hoping and praying it was not a scam. One week later i received my card and tried with the closest ATM machine close to me, It worked like magic. I was able to withdraw up to $10000. This was unbelievable and the happiest day of my life. So far i have being able to withdraw up to $88000 without any Fear of being caught. Comments: I am looking for the Air Craft Carrier that might have been on maneuvers off the coast of South Korea in late May or early June 1962 and who might have launched a Navy bomber retrofit with spray tanks to spray the DMZ in Korea.
The plane would have come back to the ship with bullet holes in the fuselage one engine that had been hit with gun fire and nor working.

Cause of death is unknown at this time. Details of the funeral will be distributed when they become available.Shipmate Jim is well known by all those who have attended Coral Sea reunions as he's been an active member of the USS Coral Sea Assoc. for many years. Comments: I still vividly remember the explosion & fire that killed our shipmates. I had just came aboard and they wouldn't let me go to our spaces (NUC). I helped fight the fire and then seeing them bring those charred bodies past all of us, that was gut wrenching! GOD have mercy on their souls. red, Jessie, Ollie,ya'll out there? also, pueblo incident. we had one of our nuc's on an a-4 Skyhawk in hanger bay. never went to flight deck.

Comments: Served in &E& Division as upper deck lighting Chief, CPO Mess Cater, Mess Deck CMAA, Ships CMAA until I retire. Worked for XO Bos, and CO Capt. Harris. I think I had the smartest, sharpest Division of Master at Arms in the Navy. All had to be at least 3.5 for me to take them. It was a pleasure to be their Chief. They worked their rears off, even the TAD Air Wing personnel. BM1 Gray was my LPO. An outstanding sailor. I have been looking for W.&Willy& Green ICC, E Div. Anyone know his where about's?

Comments: to Roger DiVitto ,I served on the Coral Maru from Sept of 1967 thru Nov of 68 . Working in the V-5 Dept meant I was in the & tower & during launches and recoveries . I can't really fathom how much stress you guys on the flight deck went through . I did know a few guys from the arresting gear crew , like Tim Orngard . Comments: Reported aboard Jan or Feb (can't quite remember anymore) '62 in Yokosuka, Japan. I had just turned 18 years old in January. They immediately sent me to messcook duty. Got in a fight in the spud locker. Two guys jumped me for dumping garbage from the scullery in their spaces. One guy held me, the other guy punched my lights out. But I was a PN and got assigned to the Personnel Office. I didn't get mad but I damn sure got even if you know what I mean. I served with some of the finest guys you could imagine. Joe Hoesley, Chuck Bell, Dennis Woolworth, Dennis Westergreen, &Hap& Litzell, Danny Tom and many others. We were Golden Shellbacks from the '63 visit to Sydney, Australia. Very proud of my service time. Still wear my Coral Sea hat and jacket. Plan on going to the reunion in Charleston, SC in October. I have only been to two other reunions but they really are special. Hope to see some of the guys there that I served with. Smooth sailing to one and all.

Comments: We went into dry dock in yokosuka in august 67. They kept us on the ship, no barracks. That was when I realized how narrow the afterbraw was, looking down to the botom of the dry dock waaaaaay down there kept a lot of us from getting drunk. I sure didn't want to be wobbly crossing that skinny thing.

Comments: I have had to 'block' a lot of what I experienced during my time on the Coral Maru.
Have not been in contact will anyone since I left the ship.
Some tough times in the 68-69 and 69-70 west-pac cruises.
Most of what I remember was the stress involved with working on the flight deck during flight-ops especially the night time operations, still makes me anxious.
Worked with a great group of guys very professional during flight operations, crazy/prankish guys when we got to port. First ? in port 'Where's the milk?', second ? What time do the bars open? AHH Olongopo, Philippines (once called sin city of the world) what a great liberty port, exciting especially when there were 2 carriers docked.
Base sailors hated to see a carrier come into port, prices for just about anything went through the roof. Girls, booze, switchblades, shoe shines (get any on your whites)you know all that fun stuff.
Going through some of the 2014 guest book filings really brought back memories. God bless to all that I served with, hope age hasn't done you wrong.

The question: How was the nose strut extended on the F-4's prior to cat launch? Some of us were trouble shooters during our time on board and we just can't recollect how that strut extended. I remember long hard hours on the flight deck of alpha strikes, recovering aircraft in the barricade and the mining of Haiphong Harbor.
I am currently serving on the board of directors for the Never Forgotten Honor Flight, flying veterans to Washington D.C. to see their memorials.
I have many memories of the crew and ship from the 2 cruises aboard her.
