为什么一个用the，一个不用the呢？
1，在国家名前不加the
2，岛屿、州前加the
the UK是the United Kingdom of Britain and Northern Ireland的缩写，这个王国是由大不列颠岛和爱尔兰岛组成，所以加the。虽然是一个国家，但英国人把它看做是岛屿的集合。
the US是the United States的缩写，是由州组成的，所以加the。虽然是一个国家，但美国人把它看做是州的集合。
USA是the United States of America的缩写，缩写后去掉了the和of，USA是一个国家名，所以不加the。

在独一无二的事物前加the，如the& & sun。
又可以加在名词所有格前，如the& &he`s& & book
