I have been meaning to update this section of the Web site for a while.
While much of the Articles/Information linked to is older, don’t discount it. It will give you a good understanding of the BitTorrent (BT) Copyright Troll mind and how GREED has made it evolve and adapt to various changes.
As of today, most of the people affected by BT Copyright Trolls will fall into one of three categories – Bottom Feeding Trolls, Multiple-Doe Law Suits, and Single-Doe Law Suits.

PACER / RECAP
One of the first things I will always suggest to a new Doe is to get a PACER account.
is Public Access to Court Electronic Records.
Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) is an electronic public access service that allows users to obtain case and docket information from federal appellate, district and bankruptcy courts, and the PACER Case Locator via the Internet. PACER is provided by the federal Judiciary in keeping with its commitment to providing public access to court information via a centralized service.

PACER accounts are free to obtain, but you will have to provide a credit/debit card to be billed for documents and searches.
There is no registration fee. However, the Judicial Conference of the United States has established a fee for access to information in PACER. All registered users will be charged as follows:
Use of web-based PACER systems will generate an $.10 per page charge.
Audio files of court hearings retrieved via PACER will generate a $2.40 per file charge.
You are billed on a quarterly basis and if you keep it under $15.00, it is free.
If you are only accessing your cases, that should be easy for most.
One way you can save some money on your PACER bill, as well as give something back to this community is to use
(“turning PACER around”) when accessing PACER.
This really helps me and other who do a good amount of research and analysis on these cases.
It isn’t cheap and getting a $50+ bill is not unusual.
If you like what I do, please use RECAP when possible.
RECAP is a free extension for the
Web browsers.
What RECAP does is check PACER (when you access it) and tell you if there are “free” copies of the various case documents (and dockets) available to download.
If so, you are able to download it with ease.
If you have to pay for document, RECAP uploads the document and then other people can obtains free copies.
Note: RECAP is only as current as the latest docket/file download.
If you see the last date of filing on a case is after the last RECAP, you will need to access it via PACER to get the latest information/document(s) & update RECAP.

“Noob” (also referred to as “Newbie”) is an English slang term and a pejorative label used to describe a newcomer or inexperienced user. On the Internet, “noob” usually refers to an inexperienced computer user, especially in the context of online gaming or programming.
“Noob” originated from the word “Newbie”, a term originally used in the 1960s–1970s among U.S. troops during the Vietnam War to refer to a new man in a unit. There are multiple theories regarding the etymology of the term “newbie”; some assert that it may have come from the word “newie,” which referred to a neophyte or a beginner as early as since 1850s, while others point to the British public school slang “new boy” or “new blood” that emerged around the same time.
Online Usage
The term is believed to have entered online usage through the Usenet newsgroup talk.bizarre in the 1980s, according to The Jargon File. The earliest archived mention of “newbie” can be found in another Usenet discussion thread posted on May 31st, 1988.
The net is all too often cluttered with requests for BinHex, StuffIt, PackIt… and hasty articles about not being able to unbinhex 4.0 with 5.0, and “what’s a .pit file?” I did my stuggling as a newbie – let’s get some info out for those that are new to the net so that it works for all of us. Or shall we ignore newbies like someone suggested we ignore non-programmers??

The term became heavily used among computer programmers with the emergence of

has 258 definitions for “Noob” as of March 2012. The highest ranking entry is a three part essay written by SlykeThePhoxenix on August 27th, 2007. The entry attempted to set a clear distinction between a noob (n00b) and a newbie (newb):
A noob/n00b and a newbie/newb are not the same thing. Newbs are those who are new to some task and are very beginner at it, possibly a little overconfident about it, but they are willing to learn and fix their errors to move out of that stage. N00bs, on the other hand, know little and have no will to learn any more. They expect people to do the work for them and then expect to get praised about it, and make up a unique species of their own.
By May 2009, “noob” had become such a commonly used word that rumors about its inclusion in the English dictionary began to spread. The rumors began when Global Language Monitor, a linguistic analysis firm that tracks and studies English language trends, revealed that “n00b” was one of the candidate words being considered for its recognition as the one millionth English word. This announcement was subsequently covered by Geekologie, Destructoid and Pixelated Geek, as well as news media outlets like The Telegraph.
Although the term has yet to be included in the the Merriam-Webster Online, it was eventually listed in the Online Slang Dictionary and the Oxford Dictionaries with the following description:
n00b: a person who is inexperienced in a particular sphere or activity, especially computing or the use of the Internet.
Commonly found in chat, forums or in-game communications, it is used as a means of identifying those who are deemed less than elite within an online community, thus it is almost always interpreted as an insult. However, criteria for being considered a a person can be called a newbie in one newsgroup while remaining a respected regular in another.
Variations
Although “noob” is still the most popular abbreviation, other variants have emerged since, with each carrying a slightly different meaning or connotation. Some of the most prominent ones include:
Noob is the standard and most widespread variation. It is most commonly used to new and inexperienced people. They are commonly seen as annoying and disrespectful, not willing to learn anything about the subject they are “noob” in. A popular derivative of this is “n00b”. These share the same meaning, but n00b is more commonly used in places where
is present.
Newb is also used towards new and inexperienced players. The common difference with noob is that these people are aware of their inexperience and are willing to learn more about it in order to get better.
Newfag is the
version and one of the more popular . It is used most commonly towards new and inexperienced users on 4chan, but has spread to other sites as well.

STFU NOOB!
STFU NOOB! is a catchphrase most commonly used in image macros, using images of angry people or animals in a screaming position. This originated from online gaming. Noobs would often complain about various things within the game, to the extent where others would become annoyed. One of the more popular replies to this was “STFU NOOB!”.
Newfags Can’t Triforce
is a often occurring 4chan roll call / response meme. Experienced members (oldfags) would challenge new members (newfags) to post a triforce, which is 3 triangles assembled into a larger triangle. Oldfags would be aware that this requires the usage of alt-codes, whereas newfags would simply copy & paste, failing in the proces.
is internet slang used in first person shooter games to refer to the attachment of an under slung grenade launcher to assault rifles. Because it is relatively easy to kill another player with the grenade launcher and the attachment’s tube-like shape, “Noob Tube” has become associated with newbie players who opt for grenade launcher mode.
Google Insights reveals that the volume of search queries for “noob” superseded that of “newbie” in late 2005. Meanwhile, search interest in the word “newbie” has been steadily declining ever since.

It's not just about natural gifts, it's about adjusting your body to maximise the right strengths and minimise the right weaknesses. Lebron has spent years training core and glutes and every other stabilising muscle possible to capitalise on his already absurd natural gifts. He spent years adjusting his running and landing techniques, adjusting his diet where many haven't and generally treating his body as what it is, the most important asset in his career.

Well our team sucked defensively with Noel paired alongside Okafor and he is the same size as Davis with similar defensive talent.
How many people will trade for Jrue at 20m+ a year? Interesting trade that would end up being. Jrue is too good for the bad teams that want to tank, but not sure he's the lead guard of a championship team.

I think you're jumping to conclusions a little bit early.
Ajinca isn't amazing, but 5m a year is nothing and is also tradeable.
Lottery protected means we end up with a 16-20ish pick at some point in the future for Okafor. We're all pretty low on him, but I still think we can do better. Id probably take a 16-20 pick now, but the uncertainty of lottery protection is a deal breaker IMO.
Top 10 protected and I'd accept, and I'd want decreasing protections year after year because the Pelicans could easily get quite good.

If you're throwing Asik our way, we would need almost no protection on that pick. Hampering our own cap space through 2018-19 is a nightmare.
They love BB. Never heard a single complaint from the players about something Brown can control.
Why do we care if Whiteside and Monroe beat him up when Nerlens can defend like a monster against the teams that actually matter? When he is playing on a good team, they will easily be able to cover for him. I'd way prefer my center can defend the Steph Curry's of the world and play ridiculous help defence.
There are like 4 or 5 centers in the league that actually take advantage of Nerlens, and usually he makes up for it by being a terror everywhere else defensively. I'm pretty comfortable throwing doubles at those few guys if needed, or playing a condensed zone when needed given all the other positives Nerlens brings. I'd much rather my center can destroy PnRs and play amazing help defence than be able to defend Whiteside in the post or on the boards. Rebounding is a team thing, no RoCo hurt us more.
