黎巴嫩生活散记——葡萄美酒夜光杯
根据考古研究，葡萄酒历史已经有6000年。酿酒的葡萄品种最早起源于中东地区的梅索不达米亚平原,后被带到了埃及和腓尼基(即现在的黎巴嫩),然后才被引入到西欧地区。所以，实际上，黎巴嫩人酿制葡萄酒已有四五千年的历史，他们的祖先腓尼基人在公元前3000年就已成为世界第一大葡萄酒贸易商，将现在的黎巴嫩比卜鲁斯地区的葡萄酒出口到地中海国家，包括意大利、希腊、埃及等。因发现“泰坦尼克”沉船而闻名于世的美国水下考古学家罗伯特﹒波拉德，在公元前750年前腓尼基的两艘沉船的货物中，就发现了至今保存完好的葡萄酒。那个时代，黎巴嫩葡萄酒是品质的象征，赢得了广泛的美誉，甚至在《圣经》中被用来赞扬人的品质。《圣经》创世纪14章“荷西”小节中写到：“他的名望就像黎巴嫩葡萄酒一样”。《圣经》中还提到，耶稣在黎巴嫩创造的第一个奇迹就是在南部Qana城把水变成了酒。据有心人士研究统计：《圣经》中，共提到葡萄酒wine一词达207次，葡萄藤达62次，葡萄园92次和葡萄压榨器15次。
黎巴嫩历史上曾被罗马统治。罗马帝国所到之处都会种植葡萄来酿造葡萄酒，他们把酒带到了一些现在非常知名的地区，例如法国的波尔多、勃艮第、阿尔萨斯等。大约在公元二世纪，罗马人把酒神巴克斯神殿建在了黎巴嫩的巴尔贝克，即现在被誉为黎巴嫩国宝的世界遗产“巴尔贝克遗址”。这座建于2000年前保存完整的罗马时期神殿就是“酒神巴克斯”神殿，在神殿大门上至今仍可看到精美葡萄藤叶的雕刻。
&&&&1857年被认为是现代黎巴嫩葡萄酒业的元年。那年，贝卡谷地Ksara村的耶稣会会士Jesuit开始培育从阿尔及利亚引进的新品种葡萄并建立了这处Chateau&Ksara酒庄（卡萨尔葡萄酒庄，Caves&of&Ksara,&Bekaa&&&Lebanon），因而，这里是黎巴嫩现存历史最久（超过150年）也是生产量最大的酒庄。
这里的地下酒窖有将近一英里长的天然隧道（据说天然or疑似天然——No&idea&...）可以存放橡木桶。这条曲折迂回的地下暗道，阴凉避光，保证了储藏葡萄酒所需的温度和湿度。一个个木桶沿着地道依次排开，许多瓶装的酒也被堆码在墙壁上的凹洞中。
门外其实也是一样的宁静，自然有些许清冷，但并没有丝毫中国北方冬日里一片萧杀景象的感觉。
现在正是圣诞节即将来临的时候。事实上，这个地方理论上我应该最熟悉，因为每周四下午来扎赫勒教学区上课的时候，我乘坐的车子都会经过这家酒庄的门前，但我却已是五过其门而未入了。反倒是这次是陪来黎巴嫩进行访问和京剧演出的沈阳师范大学艺术学院演出团的师生游览才有机会进来这里面。
实话：不懂酒，不嗜酒，不小资，更不欲附庸风雅。只是喜欢置身在这样一间屋子里这样静静的一角，浅浅的一杯葡萄酒，沉醉在这样一个温柔的冬日里——留香的不仅仅是齿颊，还有在阳光中悠悠游走的思绪。
&&&据报道，2008年，具有50多年历史的Chateau&Kefraya酒庄（卡夫拉雅葡萄酒庄）葡萄酒全年产量为230万瓶，超过了卡萨尔葡萄酒庄（CHATEAU&KSARA）产量，在黎葡萄酒产量排名跃居为第一位。。
&&&葡萄酒行业有新、旧世界之分，“旧世界”以欧洲历史悠久的三大产酒国法国、意大利和德国为代表。“新世界”则指美国、澳大利亚、南非、智利、黎巴嫩等进入葡萄酒酿造行业时间不长的国家。一次世界大战后法国对黎巴嫩的统治，推动了当代黎巴嫩饮酒文化的发展，那时的贝鲁特是地中海高雅文化城市的代名词。从那时起黎巴嫩葡萄酒品质逐步改善并融入名流社会圈。引起当代西方关注，是从黎巴嫩Musar酒庄首先在1979年英国Bristol&Wine&Fair博览会获奖开始，其后黎巴嫩各酒庄的葡萄酒不断在世界各地葡萄酒展会上获奖，在行家圈内积累起很高的声誉，到今天被世界葡萄酒界认作是“新世界葡萄酒新宠”。
&&&黎巴嫩葡萄酒每年的总产值约2600万美元，年出口1200万美元，产量为600-700万瓶/每年。黎国内市场每年消费约400万瓶，产区主要在黎东部的“贝卡谷地”地区。“贝卡谷地”平均海拔1000米，夏季干燥、夜晚温低，使用黎巴嫩山脉雪山融雪后形成的溪流灌溉，因此每年葡萄的成熟季节较晚，要到9月份才成熟。葡萄酒素有“七分原料，三分工艺”之说，黎巴嫩酿酒葡萄得天独厚的生长环境和多样性，保证了葡萄酒质量和品种的多样性。

One thing you need to know about that wasn't mentioned in the description is that there was no generator for electricity. So whenever there was no electricity from the government (which can happen quite often in Lebanon) they provided candles, which adds a bit of romance to the ambiance but could be inconvenient if you need power for your mobile or laptop :). A little bit stingy with towels/soaps they offered only for 1 person while we were two. They provided extras when we asked. I think it is a super good value for the money, the apartment had a balcony with an amazing view to the mountains and the sunset.
