I haven't a clue about the blender, but without a lid I'd be stupid to attempt any kind of mixing unless I really wish my kitchen ceiling to be splattered with all sorts.
In conclusion: I'd sorely love to give this a 1* rating but feel it unfair as key components are missing and as a result I cannot give it my full attention. Surely there are cheaper systems on the market? It does seem rather pricey for the meager power and specification.
