In recent years, a strange phenomenon has occurred in our country&people are very cautious of helping others, especially helping strangers, because a few people are getting involved in trouble when helping others. Thus, a number of people have no idea whether they should help strangers or not.
As far as I am concerned, we should help strangers in an appropriate way. Firstly, helping others is our traditional virtue and we have been taught to be glad to help others all the time. Hence, we should develop this virtue as much as possible in view of making a harmonious society. Secondly, helping others is helping ourselves in some ways. Just imagine the situation when we are getting into trouble but no one is reluctant to lend a hand to us. Therefore, we should put ourselves in others& shoes and be glad to help others.
However, in order to avoid involving in unnecessary trouble when helping others, it would be better for us to choose a reasonable way. For example, to help a child who was falling into river, seeking others& help rather than jumping into the river if you cannot swim at all.

The older generations have very&traditional&ideas about the correct ways of life, thinking and behavior. However, some people think that these ideas are not helpful for the young generation to prepare for modern life. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
& In this day and age, the number of old people is increasing dramatically, but as to whether or not we should take the advice of the old remains a debatable question. Some individuals argue that their thoughts about the morality like integrity, loyalty and kindness are of great value, while others contend that youngsters ought to possess their own method to deal with the situation. I prefer, however, the latter one would be better for the development of our society.
&& Admittedly, senior citizens grasp the basic principle in terms of attitudes, methodology and behaviors on the grounds that they have experienced the same problem as youngsters do now. Therefore following their advice enables us to distinguish the good and the bad from the incident we are faced with and reduce the opportunity to commit the same mistake, which contributes to growth of the new generation.
&& However, what we can not deny is that different generations have various conditions, which are always changing. In this case, merely copying the same idea and behavior will definitely be a disaster. It is especially true for the condition that we are facing the society with ever-accelerating progress. The main reason probably lies in immediate interest they may obtain by cheating. For example, a company, which manufactures fake products, may seem to win for a moment because it can minimize its manufacture cost by doing so. This kind of businesses, however, will be driven out of the market in the long run. For the consumers after getting to know the poor quality of the products will not buy them anymore.　　The same is true of inpiduals. Dishonest people dare not take on the responsibility of life. They cheat in class, in office, at home and so on. But the truth can hardly be masked. The moment the truth comes out they will lose their credibility, which is easier to destroy than to rebuild. Consequently, these dishonest will suffer a long time because of their cheating behaviors. In conclusion, no one can afford to be dishonest in a civilized society.　　Honesty is the pillar of a society. People will benefit from being honest in the long run. That's why we say it pays to be honest.
